The International Fine Arts Consortium (IFAC) founded in 1996 continues to be a beacon of artistic exploration and discovery. With an impressive track record of showcasing thousands of innovative artists across the globe, IFAC's vibrant portfolio spans hundreds of exhibitions, screenings, performances, and events. Prestigious platforms such as the Venice Biennale, Guggenheim Museum, NCCA Moscow, Mykonos Biennale, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, PS1/MoMA, The Hermitage Museum, Arlington National Cemetery, Liverpool Biennale, Lincoln Center, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago feature prominently in IFAC's history.

Lee Wells (b.1971) is a conceptual artist, writer and curator whose artwork ranges from painting, drawing and photography, to video and new media, His practice focuses on systems of power and control in society and has been presented internationally for over 25 years. In 1996 he founded IFAC Arts and has continued to lead it into the 21st century.
Since the early 1990's Wells has stood at the frontier of digital and traditional art, currently integrating AI with classical painting techniques, photography, video, and internet based new media to create a groundbreaking visual language. His work prompts us to rethink art, reality, and human creativity's potential amidst technological progression.
In 2018, artist Lee Wells unveiled "Sophia's Safehouse in an Uncanny Valley" at Darling Pearls & Co in London. Examining the celebrity culture around humanoid AI and robotics, Wells used the installation to explore 21st-century concepts of humanity, authenticity, and identity, drawing on the influences of Orwell, Shelley, Dick, and Asimov. A participatory performance, "Serious Psychodrama", complemented the installation, inviting a lighthearted exploration of AI's potential. In 2019, Wells presented "Dolphins vs Robots" at the AC Institute, a 40-minute immersive performance featuring VideoArtBots Alice and Bob. Through the repurposing of consumer electronics into AI beings, Wells encouraged viewers to re-evaluate their perceptions and identity.
His influential role in the International Fine Arts Consortium (IFAC) aligns with his view of our interconnected society, fostering global dialogue about art, technology, and society.
